Third in a series of three mini-concerts. Brass Quintet featuring Bill Simon, Dave Arneson, Tim Skutley and others. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, non-alcoholic beverages and picnic suppers. Light refreshments will be offered by Turks Head Coffee House. Loudray, a high energy, up-tempo, acoustic band began over four years ago when guitarist Jon Stowell and banjoist Colin Anderson became neighbors in St. Paul, MN. With a mutual interest in original music and the acoustic traditions of the Twin Cities Jon and Colin began exploring the music they created in detail. In 2008, Loudray released their debut album The Lonesome Road Society, later to be given honorable mention for best local albums of the year from the Onion A.V. Club.
