With a mutual interest in original music and the acoustic traditions of the Twin Cities Jon and Colin began exploring the music they created in detail. In 2008, Loudray released their debut album The Lonesome Road Society, later to be given honorable mention for best local albums of the year from the Onion A.V. Club.
