Pilates has a strong focus on the abdominal muscles to ensure that the spine is properly supported. Pilates increases our awareness of all muscle groups, relieving the strain on those that are often overused. Participants will be using mats on the floor for this class and is limited to 15.

The goal of the class is to lose weight and/or prevent or manage high blood pressure by practicing better nutrition for 5 weeks. Sometimes just getting started on New Years Resolutions is the hardest part and a short program is just what the doctor ordered.
