Money Saving Tip from Team Tiry Real Estate!

Weekly Money Tip! Buy in BULK when it makes sense. You can either save money or waste money when you buy in bulk. Buying 10 boxes of Lucky Charms that are on sale only saves you if you will actually eat all 10 boxes before it expires. I… save money by buying things in bulk that we regularly use. For example, when our toothpaste goes on sale (we like a particlular type that’s all natural), I buy around 10-12 bottles. I do the same when it comes to our hair products, butter, kleenex, some canned goods, etc. This will often times get you through to the next time it goes on sale which is generally every 6-8 weeks at the store we go to. Butter is on sale around Thanksgiving so I generally buy 40-50 pkgs to last all year and freeze them. It’s usually around $2 off per pound which saves me about $100 per year on butter alone. Anyone else shop like this?See More
