Weekly Money Tip! Make some phone calls. A few months ago I called Charter to ask a question about my bill. What surprised me was that he mentioned I was on an old program for my internet. The same internet was now only $49.99 vs. $68.56…. That’s a savings of $18 per month or $216 per year! I also stopped by AT&T to add an I-Pad to my account. He also checked and said my plan was outdated. I was paying $298.10 for Aaron and I per month. The new plan with more data and now an I pad was only $195.81 for both of us per month!! That’s a savings of $102.29 per month or $1227 per year!!! It’s totally worth asking. I didn’t beg or ask for a lower price, my plans were simply outdated. So get on the phone and make some calls!
